Through our app, users can send money directly to bank accounts and mobile wallets in Africa using cryptocurrency, eliminating the need for traditional intermediaries. With Divest, transactions are quick, convenient, and secure.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer at Divest. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, as well as software development. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and implementing user interfaces, creating and maintaining databases, and troubleshooting and debugging code. Some work from home is acceptable, but the role is primarily located in Lagos.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, Software Development, and Full-Stack Development
• Strong knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces
• Ability to create and maintain databases
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development

• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and backend technologies (Java, Python, Node.js)

• Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database concepts

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience with financial services or Fintech industry

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

• Certification in fullstack development or related field
